      Ki wafa or zindagi saza hogayi,
      Wafa kerte rahay hum ibadaton ki tara
      Phir ibadaat khud ik gunah ban gayi,
      Kitna suhana tha safar jab sath thay hum
      Phir kiya howa kyon manzil juda hogayi,
      Koi chahat koi hasrat koi umeed nahi rahi
      Wo gaya tu laga dunya fana hogayi,
      Ye dua ki ke jisay chahe wohi milay osay
      Par ye dua apne liye bad dua hogayi,
      Abhi kuch dair howi usay yaad karte howay
      Ye aaj kyon itni jaldi subah hogayi ?
