Umera Ahmad

Ahmad was born on December 10, 1976 in Sialkot (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sialkot). She began her writing career in 1998 with her initial stories published in monthly Urdu digests. She has written 16 books, ranging from complete novels (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Novel) to compilations of short stories (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Short_story). Her popular book is Pir-e-Kamil (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pir-e-Kamil).

Later she became an English language lecturer for the students of O and A levels at Army Public College, Sialkot. However, she left the job a few years back in order to devote her full attention to writing. Both her novels and her plays[2] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Umera_Ahmad#cite_note-2) have been adapted for television (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Film_adaptation#Television_adaptation). In 2007 Ahmad attended a discussion meeting organized by Geo TV (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geo_TV) regarding new ways of being creative in television.

Assalam o alaikum

Umerah Ahmed ka mene ziadah tu nahi but naam suan he. atleast apny gher me.

ek baat bari dilchasp he ke Mohterma interview ke pehly page per fermati hain ke "mera khayal hey ko Khud ko bohat taleem yafta ya broad minded zahir kerne ke liye ye zoroori nahi ke ko aapki guftgo me bhi mghribi andaaz ho" aur phir os ke baad mohterma ka apna andaaz parhny ke laaiq he. kaash hum dekh paaty ke ke woh interview ke waqt kis andaz me baat ker rahi thin. .

Dostoon bura mat maniye ga, hamar maghribi aur maghribi style logon se wasta perta rehta he. aur mohterma ka style that i must say "me, I and myself" se qataaun makhtalif nahi. aur yehi west ke logoon ka turra imteyaaz he ke unki baat ko tu tanqeed key bajay so called justice yani insaaf ki nazar se dekha jay, per hum jo mari keh jay, chahey niri tanqeed hi ho woh durust he. jesy mohabbat chup ekr kerny wali cheez he. aur jo chup ker wlai cheez ho wo ghalat ho . . ye bhi naya he merey liye.

I must say ke woh ek achi writer he. aur insha Allah rahain gi. meri aary aur tabsarey ki koi oqaat nahi.
