Urdu Translation: Hazrat Umar RadiyAllahu Anhu se Riwayat hai ke RasoolAllah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne Irshad Farmaya:
▶ Jab Mu'adhdhin "Allahu Akbar" "Allahu Akbar" kahe to tum mein se jo "Allahu Akbar" "Allahu Akbar" keh kar Azan ka Jawab de,
▶ Aur Jab Mu'adhdhin "Ashhadu Alla ilaha illallah" kahe to ye bhi "Ashhadu Alla ilaha illallah" kahe,
▶ Aur Jab Mu'adhdhin "Ashhadu Anna Muhammadarrasulullah" kahe to ye bhi "Ashhadu Anna Muhammadarrasulullah" kahe,
▶ Jab Mu'adhdhin "Hayya Alas Salah" kahe to ye "La hawla wala quwwata illa billah" kahe,
▶ Phir Jab Mu'adhdhin "Hayya Alal Falah" kahe to ye "La hawla wala quwwata illa billah" kahe,
▶ Aur Jab Mu'adhdhin "Allahu Akbar" "Allahu Akbar" kahe to ye bhi "Allahu Akbar" "Allahu Akbar" kahe,
▶ Aur Jab Mu'adhdhin "La ilaha illallah" kahe to ye bhi "La ilaha illallah" kahe, Jis ne (Azan ke Jawab mein) Dil se ye Kalimat kahe wo Jannat mein Dakhil hojayega."

'Umar b. al-Khattab RadiyAllahu Anhu reported: The Messenger of Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said:
▶ When the Mu'adhdhin says: Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest, and one of you should make this response: Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest;
▶ (and when the Mu'adhdhin) says: I testify that there is no god but Allah, one should respond: I testify that there is no god but Allah,
▶ and when he says: I testify that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, one should make a response: I testify that Muhammad is Allah's Messenger.
▶ When he (the Mu'adhdhin) says: Come to prayer, one should make a response: There is no might and no power except with Allah.
▶ When he (the Mu'adhdhin) says: Come to salvation, one should respond: There is no might and no power except with Allah,
▶ and when he (the Mu'adhdhin) says: Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest, then make a response: Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest.
▶ When he (the Mu'adhdhin) says: There is no god but Allah, and he who makes a re- sponse from the heart: There is no god but Allah, he will enter Paradise.
