The Noble Qur’an is the last revealed word of Allah to the last Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), through the Angel Jebril (Gabriel) and protected by Allah.. It is the primary source of every Muslim’s faith and practice. It deals with all the subjects which concern human beings: wisdom, doctrine, worship, transactions, law, etc., but its basic theme is the relationship between God and His creatures. At the same time, it provides guidelines and detailed teachings for a just society, proper human conduct, and an equitable economic system
The Holy Qur’an is the Message of Allah to all mankind for all time. The Message contains the guidance for their well-being Here and Hereafter. The Message is not only for recitation, it is to be properly understood and followed.
Allah says, “When thou does read the Qur’an, seek Allah's protection from Satan the Rejected One.” (Surah A'raf-204)
“Those to whom We have sent the Book study it as it should be studied: they are the ones that believe therein, those who reject faith therein, the loss is their own.” (Surah Baqarah-121)
“When the Qur’an is read, listen to it with attention, and hold your peace: that ye may receive Mercy.” (Surah Nahl-98)
”Or a little more; and recite the Qur-an in slow, measured rhythmic tones.”(Surah Muzzammil-4)
The Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said: Envy is not justified except in two cases: one who, having been given (knowledge of) the Qur'an by Allah and he recites it during the night and day (and also acts upon it) and a man who, having been given wealth by Allah, and he spends it during the night and the day (for the welfare of others, seeking the pleasure of Allah).
