These days some people think that rich interaction of social media in our life is healthy for our modern culture. On the other hand, others say that high usage of social media is decreasing our social values. Recently, I was thinking on this issue and i concluded that why it is a problem and how we can resolve it ?.
First of all, it is time to realize that social networks can dangerously reduce social gatherings. It is because people are used to make many friends in Facebook, Twitter, Linked-in and e.t.c, interact with them at internet. But in the real life, they have no time to meet with others even they do not often meet with their blood relatives. And here is the point where they reduce their social skills and communication skills and yes, they also lost their confidence in real.
Secondly, Social networkings also can reduce motivation and academic achievement among students in the school or colleges because many students are becoming addicted to the social networks. They are become lazy to learn and choose to spend time online in social media. They spend more and more time just surfing the social networks without any particular reason. Therefore, the time they spend on studying is automatically reduces, which in turn causes lower academic achievement.
Solution is simple, it should be control by parents, guardians & teachers on initial level. People must motivate our youth for real gatherings like wedding ceremonies, birthday parties, religious parties, e.t.c. Do not put extra pressure on them for respecting family values, we must not be so sophisticated in this case. Just let them go to understand our family theme. It will definitely increase love and respects in their heart and they would enjoy their sitting among family members.
